When CECB energetic certificate is required for all properties transactions ?

Canton of Vaud : Since 1 January 2017, a dwelling property owner has to provide a CECB (Cantonal Energy Certificate for Buildings) when he is selling their home.

Canton of Geneva :  the CECB energetic certificate is not obligatory for selling houses.

Canton of Fribourg :  the CECB energetic certificate is obligatory for selling houses.

Canton of Valais :  the CECB energetic certificate is not obligatory for selling houses.

Canton of Jura :  the CECB energetic certificate is obligatory for selling houses.

The CECB is a Swiss certificate that determines the efficiency of the building envelope, by a class ranking between A to G (energy label).
